.btif - NationsBank Check Image
The BTIF data files are related to NationsBank Check Viewing Plugin. The BTIF file is a NationsBank Check Image. BTIF file contains bank check images and ASCII text data. The BTIF file format can contain image segments with compression formats that are not contained in the TIFF 6.0 specification. This means that standard TIFF readers will not be able to read BTIF files that contain these proprietary compression types. The NationsBank Check Viewing Plugin seems to be no longer supported.

Can't open a .btif file?
