.vxd - Windows Virtual Device Driver
VxD is a virtual device driver. They run under the Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and Windows 98 operating systems, and have access to the memory of the kernel and all running processes, as well as raw access to the hardware.

Can't open a .vxd file?

To avoid this error, you need to set the file association correctly.
- Open Control Panel > Control Panel Home > Default Programs > Set Associations.
- Select a file type in the list and click Change Program.
